Yolande Comtesse was born in 1175. Yolande Comtesse's father was Baldwin VIII Count of Flanders & V of Hainault and her mother was Marguerite De Lorraine. Her paternal grandparents were Baudouin IV Count of Hainault and Alix Comtesse De Namur; her maternal grandparents were Count of Flanders Dietrich (Thierry) D'Alsace Count of Flanders and Sibyl D'Anjou. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Baldwin Count IX of Flandes & VI of, Baldwin IX Count Of, Isabelle and Sybil Of. She died at the age of 44 in August 1219.-
