Almodie was born about 1020. Almodie's father was Eudes II Comte De Blois and her mother was Emelia D'Auvergne. Her paternal grandparents were Eudes I Comte De Blois and Bertha of Burgundy; her maternal grandparents were Robert I Comte D'Auvergne and Ermengarde De Toulouse. She had two brothers and a sister, named Stephen Comte, Theobalde II Comte De Chartres & and Bertha. She was the youngest of the four children. She died about 1097.-
