Emma Alberade was born about 1008 in Ivry, France. Emma Alberade's father was Comte D'Ivry Ralph Comte De Bayeux Comte D'Ivry and her mother was Erneburge de Caux. Her paternal grandmother was Sprota of Normandy. She had a brother and a sister, named Ancitel Vicomte and Alberade. She was the second oldest of the three children.
