Martin I was born in 0930 in Normandy, France.  Martin I's father was Juheal Berenger DE RENNES and his mother was Gerberge DE BRETAGNE. He had two brothers named Conan I "The Crooked" Of Brittany and Mien I.  He was the oldest of the three children.
