Kunigarde was born in 0887.  Kunigarde's father was Count Herbert I DE VERMANDOIS & SENLIS and her mother was Bertha OF MORVOIS.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Pepin II Quentin Of Of Vermandois OF PERRONE and Rothaide OF BOBBIO; her maternal grandparents were Count Guerri OF MORVOIS Gueri I and Eve OF ROUSSILLON. She had a brother and four sisters, named Hurbert II, Beatrice, Sprota, Sprote Of Brittany and Adele.

They had three sons named Uto II (Konrad), Heribert Of Gleiberg & Kinziggau and Konrad FRANCONIA.
