Ermengaud I's father was Count Borrell II OF BARCELONA and his mother was Luitgarde DE TOULOUSE. He had two brothers named Raymond Borrel I and Armengol "El DE Cordoba" DE Urgel.General Notes
Founded the first 5 Royal Tribes and restored the Crown ofGweynedd in 1081. Was imprisoned by the Normans in Chester in1081-1093 in Bangor Cathedral.
