Turchetil was born in 0951 in Normandy, France.  Turchetil's father was Toft "The Rich" HARCOURT and his mother was Ertemberge BRIOQUIBEC.  His paternal grandparents were Bernard "The Dane" HARCOURT and Sprote BOURGOYNE; his maternal grandfather was Baron Turstain OF BRIOQUIBEC Oslac. He had a brother named Touroude.  He was the older of the two children.  He died in Murdered.

They had two sons and a daughter, named Anchetil, Geoffrey and Alice Lesseline.
