Ebles I was born about 0988. Ebles I's father was Giselbert DE ROUCI and his mother was DE MACON. He had a brother and a sister, named Lietard and Jutta. He was the oldest of the three children. He died on May 11th, 1033.General Notes
About 1020 Richard II, Duke of Normandy, places Ralph and hisson Roger, along with others, in charge of the castle ofTillieres to hold it against Odo of Chartres, the Duke'sbrother-in-law, who had revolted. Odo attacked the castle butwas routed and barely escaped with his life.
They had two daughters named Alice DE ROUCY and Avise DE ROUCY.
