His paternal grandfather was Nithard "The Chronicler" Of the Carolingians ST. RIQUIER; his maternal grandparents were Abbot Angilbert "The Saint" OF ST. RIQUIER and Princes Bertha Of The Holy Roman Empire CAROLINGIAN. He had a brother named Helpuin OF ARCIS-SUR-AUBE. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 43 in 0878.General Notes
