Jutta DE LUXEMBURG 
Jutta was born in 1040. Jutta's father was Count Frederick I OF LUXEMBURG and her mother was Countess Ermentrude VON GLEIBERG Irmtrud. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Frederic II Of Lorraine, Giselbert I, Ermentrude, Otgive and Giselle. She was the youngest of the six children.General Notes
in 1136, Gruffydd ap Rhys, under attack in Gower, hurried intoNorth wales to obtain assistance from his brothers-in-law. Hiswife, meanwhile, "Like an Amazon and a second Penthesilea",Commanded his followers in the south. She was slain in battle byMaurice of London, Lord of Kidwelly. Morgan, one of her youthfulsons, perished with her, and the second, Maelgwn, was takenprisoner. But Owain and Cadwaladr, sons of Gruffydd Ap Cynan,now came down from the north, destroyed Aberstwith Castle, andin the second week of Oct. they fought along with Gruffydd ApRhys a great battle near Aberteivi(Cardigan), in which thry wona decided victory over Stephen, constable of Aberteivi and "Allthe Flemings, all the marchers, and all the French from Aberneddto Aberteivi"
