Itta's father was Louis I DE FAUCIGNY and her mother was Thietburga DE SAVOIE.  Her maternal grandfather was Count Amadeo I OF SAVOY. She had a brother and a sister, named Humbert I "Whitehands" Of Savoy and Ida. She had two half-brothers named Gerold II and Aimon I.
