Yves II's father was Yves I Of Belleme and Alencon DE CREIL and his mother was Gohilda.  His paternal grandparents were Yves DE CREIL and Geile; his maternal grandparents were Count Hildouin III Of Montreuil DE PONTHIEU and Hersende. He had a brother and two sisters, named William I Talvas, Godahaut and Hildegarde.
