Hugh DE Creil Of Claremont was born in 1030 in Cleremont, Beauvais, France.  Hugh DE Creil Of Claremont's father was Count Renaud DE CLERMONT and his mother was Ermengardis DE CLERMONT.  His paternal grandfather was Hugh Butler Of France; his maternal grandfather was Count Baudouth II DE CLERMONT Baldwin II.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 71 in 1101.

They had a son and three daughters, named Renald II, Ermentrude, Richilde and Adeliza.
