John de Crawford , Sir Knight 
John de was born about 1222 in Crawfordjohn, Clydesdale, Lanarkshire, Scotland. John de's father was John Craufurd Laird de Crawford. He had two sisters named Margaret and Miss de. He was the youngest of the three children. He died about 1295.General Notes
Sir John acquired part of the Lordship and Barony of Crauford known as Crawfurd-John. Crawfurd-John was the north part of the barony of Crawford.
