Peter 1st Baron was born about 1235 in Caus Castle, Shropshire, England. Peter 1st Baron's father was Thomas Corbet , of Caus, Sheriff of Shropshire and his mother was Isabel (Beatrice) de Valletort. His paternal grandparents were Robert II Corbet , 4th Lord of Caus, Sir and Emma Pantulf; his maternal grandparents were Roger de Valletort , of Trematon & Harberton and Alesia. He had a brother and two sisters, named Nicholas, Alice and Emma. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died before August 10th, 1300.General Notes
