Emma De was born about 1029 in Conteville, France.  Emma De's father was [Vicount] Harlevin ( Herluin) Conteville [Vicount] and her mother was Arlette Herleve De Falaise.  Her paternal grandparents were [Earl Of Comyn] Jean Of Tonnbridge De Jean [Earl Of Comyn]/Conteville and Mrs. John Or Jean De Conteville; her maternal grandparents were [Chamberlain] Fulbert " The Tanner" De Falaise [Chamberlain] and Mrs. Doda Or Duxia (Nmn-Fulbert) Duxia Falaise. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Odo Bishop Of, Robert De, Andre Seigneur De, Muriel De, Mathilde De, Miss De, Adelaide De and Isabella De. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William I "The Conqueror" King Of and Adelaide Of.  She died in France.
