Alexander Comyn , 2nd Earl of Buchan 
Alexander was born about 1217 in Buchan, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Alexander's father was William Comyn , 1st Earl of Buchan and his mother was Margaret Heiress of Buchan. His paternal grandparents were Richard Comyn , Justiciar of Scotland and Hextilda of Tynedale. He had three sisters named Idoine, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers named Walter and Richard. He died before April 6th, 1290 in Buchan, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.-
