Juliane de was born about 1223 in Bampton, Devonshire, England. Juliane de's father was John de Cogan , Sir and her mother was Maria de Prendergast. Her paternal grandparents were Richard de Cogan and Basilie de Ridelisford; her maternal grandparents were Gerald de Prendergast , Lord of Enniscorthy and Matilda le Botiller. My sources give no ancestry for Juliane. Despite several sources on World Connect that have Juliane being a daughter of John and Maria, I have doubts. Juliane, I believe was born much earlier, since her first son Gerald FitzGerald was supposedly born about 1220. And more importantly, her second son Maurice married as his 1st wife Juliane's half sister Maud, widow of Maurice de Rocheford.
