Rohesia de was born about 1110 in Clare, Suffolk, England.  Rohesia de's father was Gilbert Fitz Richard de Clare , Earl Hertford and her mother was Adeliza de Claremont. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Baldwin FitzGilbert de, Richard FitzGilbert de, Gilbert de, Hawise de, Agnes de, Alice de and Margaret de.  She was the youngest of the eight children.  She died in 1149 in England.
