Roger De Mortimer II Of was born in 1256. Roger De Mortimer II Of's father was Roger Mortimer Lord of Wigmore and his mother was Maud De Braose. His paternal grandparents were Ralph De Mortimer of Wigmore and Gladys The Dark of Wales; his maternal grandparents were William De Braose IV Earl of Abergavenny and Eve Marshall. He had a brother and three sisters, named Edmund De Mortimer Lord, Isabella, Margaret and Isolde. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Eve. He died at the age of 70 in 1326.-
