John Champernoun 
John was born about 1312 in Modbury, Devonshire, Eng. John's father was Richard Champernoun and his mother was Elizabeth Joan De Valletort. His paternal grandparents were Richard Champernoun and Joan Champernon; his maternal grandparents were Hugh De Valletort and Lucia Le Bret. He had two brothers and a sister, named Richard, Thomas and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the four children.-
