Walter de was born in 1126 in Longueville, St Saviour, Jersey, Channel Isles. Walter de's father was Walter de Cantelou. He was an only child. He died about 1182.General Notes

William I de was born in 1159 in Reading, Berkshire, England. He died at the age of 80 on April 7th, 1239 in Ellesborough, Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England.
