Maud de was born about 1155 in Longueville, St Saviour, Jersey, Channel Isles. Maud de's father was Walter de Cantelou. Her paternal grandfather was Walter de Cantelou. She had a brother and a sister, named William I de and Mabel de. She was the oldest of the three children. Maud de is no longer alive.
