Roger CORBEAU 
Roger was born in 1062. Roger's father was Hugh CORBEAU. His paternal grandfather was Roger CORBEAU FITZCORBET. He had a brother named Robert Of Alcester, Warwickshire. He was the older of the two children. Roger is no longer alive.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
