Richard I de was born in 0881 in Saint Sauveur.  Richard I de's father was Malahule (Holduc Tresny) EYSTEINSSON and his mother was Maud de St. pol sur mer de THEROUANNE. He had a brother named Hugh DE.  He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother named Hilduin de.  He died at the age of 32 in 0913.

He had a biological son named Nigel I.
