Maud de was born about 1282 in Of, Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales.  Maud de's father was Patrick De CHAWORTH KNIGHT and her mother was Isabel BEAUCHAMP. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Son, Peter, Walter, Hugh, Philip Le, Margaret, Joan le, Isabel Le, Aveline (Oliva) and Eleanor.  She died after February 19th, 1317.  She was buried before December 3rd, 1322 in Priory, Mottisfont, Hampshire, England.
