Robert I "The Old" Of Burgandy was born in 1011 in Burgandy, France. Robert I "The Old" Of Burgandy's father was King Robert II "The Pious" Of France CAPET and his mother was Queen Constance Of France OF ARLES. His paternal grandparents were Duke/ Hugh Of The Franks CAPET and Adelaide OF AGUITAINE; his maternal grandparents were Count/Count William III OF TOULOUSE and Arsinde D'ANJOU. He had a brother and three sisters, named Henry I Of France, Adela, Adela Of France and Constance. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 65 in 1076.General Notes
