His paternal grandparents were King Robert II "The Pious" Of France CAPET and Queen Constance Of France OF ARLES; his maternal grandparents were Grand Prince/Duke Yaroslav I "The Wise" OF KIEV and Princess Ingegerd OF SWEDEN. He had a brother named Hugh "The Great" Of Vermandois. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 56 on July 29th, 1108.General Notes
