Richard was born about 0864 in France.  Richard's father was Robert "Fortis" King Of France Count Of Paris And Orlean and his mother was Adelaide Princess Holy Roman Empire. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert I, King Of, Eudes and Richildes De.  He was the second youngest of the four children.
