Bertha of was born about 1062 in Macon, Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne, France.  Bertha of's father was William I "The Great" Count of Macon & Burgundy and her mother was Stephanie (Etiennette) de Longwy. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Stephen (Etienne) "Tete Hardi" Comte de, Raymond of, Ermentrude of, Gisela of and Clemence Clementia of.  She was the second youngest of the six children.  She died before 1096 in (dsp).
