Isabel de was born about 1260 in Beaumont-le-Vicomte, Maine, France.  Isabel de's father was Louis of Acre de Brienne , Vicomte Beaumont and her mother was Agnes Heiress de Beaumont.  Her paternal grandparents were John (Jean) de Brienne , Byzantine Emperor and Berenquela Princess of Leon And Castile; her maternal grandparents were Raoul VI de Beaumont , Vicomte de Maine and Agnes de Normandy. She had a brother named Henry 1st Baron de.  She was the older of the two children.  She died before November 1st, 1334 in Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland, England.  She was buried in Black Friars, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.
