William IV The Younger de was born about 1175 in of Bramber, Sussex, England & Gower, Wales.  William IV The Younger de's father was William III 5th Baron de Braose , Lord Bramber and his mother was Maude de St. Valery.  His paternal grandparents were William II de Braose , 1st Baron of Abergavenny and Bertha de Gloucester , Heiress of Brecon; his maternal grandparents were Bernard IV de St. Valery , of Beckley & Horton and Eleanor (Aenor\Aanor) de Dommart. He had a brother and two sisters, named Reginald Baron de, Margaret de and Leuca de.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died in 1210 in Corfe, Windsor, England.
