Lambert of was born about 1022 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France. Lambert of's mother was Mahaut (Maud) of Louvain. His maternal grandparents were Lambert I "The Bearded" Count of Louvain and Gerberga of Lorraine. He was an only child. He died in 1054 in Slain-battle of Lille at Bataille de Lille, Flanders.-
