Henry de was born in 1176 in Warwick, Warwickshire, England.  Henry de's father was Humphrey IV "The Young" de Bohun and his mother was Margaret de Huntingdon.  His paternal grandparents were Humphrey III Baron de Bohun , Lord Hereford and Margaret de Gloucester; his maternal grandparents were Henry Earl of Huntingdon , Prince of Scotland and Ada de Warenne. He had a half-sister named Constance de.  He died at the age of 44 on June 1st, 1220 in On a pilgrimage to Holy Land.

‌Henry de and Maud were married in a religious ceremony about 1197 in Essex, England.  They had a son named Humphrey V de.
