Maud de was born about 1095 in Blois, Orleanais, France.  Maud de's father was Stephen "Le Sage" Count of Champagne & Blois and her mother was Adela of Normandy , Princess of England. She had three brothers named William "Simple" de, Theobald IV Count of Champagne & and Stephen I de Blois King of.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Emma of.  She died on November 25th, 1120 in Sinking of the White Ship (Blanche Nef).
