Robert I Bertram , of Bothal 
Robert I was born about 1160 in Bothal Demesne, Morpeth, Northumberland, England. Robert I's father was Richard I Bertram , of Bothal and his mother was Menebell Gisulph , Heiress of Bothal. He had a sister named Aline. He was the younger of the two children.
