Eleanore was born about 1297 in Berkeley Castle, Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England.  Eleanore's father was Maurice II "Magnanimous" 2nd Baron de Berkeley and her mother was Eva la Zouche.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas II "The Wise" 1st Baron de Berkeley and Joan de Ferrers; her maternal grandparents were Eudo (Eon) la Zouche , of Haryngworth and Milicent de Cantelou. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas IV "The Rich" 3rd Baron de, Maurice, Milicent (Ela) de and Isabel de.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died on March 31st, 1368 in Eshott, Northumberland, England.

‌Eleanore and Robert de were married in a religious ceremony about 1320 in 2nd wife.  They had a son named Thomas 1st Baron de.


Eleanore's second family with Roger Mauduit , Sir

‌Eleanore and Roger were married in a religious ceremony after 1325 in 2nd husband.
