Robert III de Beaumont , 3rd Earl of Leicester 
Robert III de was born before 1135 in Leicestershire, England. Robert III de's father was Robert II de Beaumont , 2nd Earl of Leicester and his mother was Amice de Montfort. He had three sisters named Isabel de, Margaret de and Hawise de. He was the youngest of the four children. He died on August 31st, 1190 in Durazzo, Greece (went on crusade 1179).General Notes

The 3rd Earl of this creation, yet another Robert, rebelled against Henry II and the town of Leicester was captured and set fire to by the King in 1173, although the castle itself was not taken. The 3rd Earl was later captured by Henry II, however, and the King then pulled the castle down.
