Odo Bishop of was born about 1030 in Bayeux, Calvados, Normandy, France.  Odo Bishop of's father was Harlevin (Herlouin) Viscomte de Conteville and his mother was Herleve (Arlette) de Falaise.  His maternal grandparents were Fulbert de Falaise and Doda. He had a brother and two sisters, named Robert de, Emma de and Muriel de.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William I "The Conqueror" King of and Adelaide of.  He died in Palermo, Sicily on 1st Crusade.  He was buried in Close advisor to half brother William The Conqueror.
