Sibyl Basset 
Sibyl was born about 1118 in Great Weldon, Northamptonshire, England. Sibyl's father was Richard Basset , of Thurleigh, Justice of England and her mother was Maud (Mathilda) Ridel , Heiress of Drayton. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Basset , of Colston, Justice of England and Alice de Buci; her maternal grandparents were Geoffrey de Ridel , of Wittering & Drayton and Geva d' Avranches , Heiress of Drayton. She had four brothers and a sister, named Geoffrey, Ralph, William, Jordan Basset de and Aliva. She was the oldest of the six children. She died after 1185.-
