Gilbert Basset 
Gilbert was born in 1190 in Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. Gilbert's father was Alan Basset , Lord of Wycombe and his mother was Aline de Gai. He had a brother and four sisters, named Philip, Hawise, Aline, Alice and Katherine. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died before July 31st, 1241.
