Alan Basset , Lord of Wycombe 
Alan was born in 1155 in Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. Alan's father was Thomas Basset , of Headington and his mother was Adeliza (Alice) de Dunstanville. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert Basset , of Wallingford and Edith d' Oyly; his maternal grandfather was Alan de Dunstanville. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Gilbert and Isabella. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died before 1233 in Headington, Oxfordshire, England.General Notes
