Maud De was born about 1260 in Castle Badlesmere, Kent, England.  Maud De's father was Justiciar Of Chester Guncelin De Badlesmere Justiciar Of Chester and her mother was Joan Fitzbernard. She had a brother named Bartholomew IV 1St Baron De.  She was the older of the two children.  She died in 1306.
