Elizabeth De was born in 1313 in Of Castle, Badlesmere, Kent, England.  Elizabeth De's father was Bartholomew de BADLESMERE BARON BADLESMERE and her mother was Margaret de CLARE.  Her paternal grandparents were Guncelin de BADLESMERE Justice CHESTER and Joan FITZBERNARD; her maternal grandparents were Thomas de CLARE KNIGHT and Julian FITZMAURICE. She had a brother and three sisters, named Giles De, Margery de, Maud De and Margaret de.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 43 on June 8th, 1356.  She was buried in Black Friars, London, Middlesex, England.
