Pedro III "The Great" King of Sicily & was born in 1239 in Barcelona, Spain. Pedro III "The Great" King of Sicily &'s father was James I "The Conqueror" King of Aragon and his mother was Yolande of Hungary. His paternal grandparents were Pedro II King of Aragon and Maria de Montpellier; his maternal grandparents were Andrew II King of Hungary and Yolande de Courtenay. He had two sisters named Violante Yolanda of and Isabella Princess of. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 46 on November 11th, 1285 in Villafranca del Panades, Catalonia. He was buried in Conquered Sicily in 1282.-
