Geoffrey I Count of Anjou 
Geoffrey I Count of was born in 0930. Geoffrey I Count of's father was Fulk II Count of Anjou and his mother was Gerberge Du Maine. His paternal grandparents were Fulk I The Red Count of Anjou and Roscilla of Loches; his maternal grandfather was Geoffrey de Gastinois. He had two sisters named Ermengarde and Arsinde. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 57 on July 21st, 0987.General Notes
Geoffrey surnamed Grisegonelle, who received, in requittal of his services against the Emperor Otho, a grant from King Robert of the dignified office of Seneschal of France. He married Adelais of Vermandois, daughter of Robert, Count of Troyes and Vermandois. He died July 21, 987.
