Mathilde (Maud) d' was born about 1163 in Boulogne, Pas-de-Calais, France.  Mathilde (Maud) d''s father was Matthew d' Alsace , Count of Boulogne and her mother was Mary de Blois , Abbess.  Her paternal grandparents were Thierry III of Lorraine , Count of Flanders and Sybil d' Anjou; her maternal grandparents were Stephen I de Blois King of England and Matilda Countess of Boulogne.  She was an only child.  She died in 1211.
