Maldred Lord of Carlisle & was born in 1003 in Allerdale, Cumbria, England. Maldred Lord of Carlisle &'s father was Crinan the Thane Lay Abbot of Dunkeld and his mother was Bethoc (Beatrix) Princess of Scotland. He had a brother and a sister, named Duncan I MacCrinan King of and Miss de. He was the second oldest of the three children.
