He married Alice (b). He may have been dead by Michaelmas 1201. [Complete Peerage XI:497-8, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]
(b) Her parentage is unknown, but Scales apparently held the advowson of the church of Worlington in coparcenery with William de Wichenton (Whiston, Northants). Possibly therefore Alice was a sister of Margeret, wife of William de Wichenton senior.
They had a son named Roger de.

Roger de was born before 1173 in Worlington, Mildenhall, Suffolk, England. He died before June 25th, 1215.
