King of Scotland Alexander I was born in 1078.  King of Scotland Alexander I's father was King of Scotland Malcolm III Caenmore and his mother was Margaret "The Saint" Atheling Queen of scotland Princess of England.  His paternal grandparents were Duncan I Of Scotland King and Sybil of Northumberland; his maternal grandparents were Prince of England Edward Athling and Agatha von Braunschweig. He had five brothers and two sisters, named King of Scotland Edgar, David I King Of, King of Scotland Edmund I, Abbot of Dunkeld Ethelred, Edward, Matilda "Atheling" Princess Of and Mary Of. He had nine half-brothers and two half-sisters, named King of Scotland Duncan II, Malcolm, Donald of, Edward Prince of, Ethelred of, Egar Of, Edgar, Alexander, Alexander I, Princess Mary and Mary Princess of.  He died at the age of 46 on April 23rd, 1124 in Stirling Castle.  He was buried in Dunfermline Abbey, Fife, Scotland.
